Devotees from SBSRBY Mission Malaysia went on a yatra to Devarayasamudra (DSM) to witness the opening ceremony of The Temple Complex and Installation of Sri ArdhaNareeswara, Lord Venkateswara and Sri Rama, Matha Sita, Sri Lakshmana and Sri Hanuman statues at Shri Shivabalayogi Maharaj Ashram, DSM, Bangalore, India on 2 December 2018.
Every morning during the Yatra devotees would partake in the morning chants lead by Shri Babaji. There was ample time for devotees to meditate and sit in silent contemplation during this yatra.
The first of the ceremonies leading up to the opening ceremony was the Maha Agni Hotra on 29th November. The next day a large number of school children came to the Ashram for Shri Babaji’s blessings. The pre Maha Kumbabhisekam ceremonies commenced for two days prior to the opening ceremony. On the morning of 1st December a pooja was conducted at the Garuda Homasaalai. Then on the morning of Sunday 2nd December 2018 the local temple priests performed the Kumbabhishekam and Panchamrutha Abhishekam. This was followed by Ashirvachana by Shri Babaji. After the Maha Mangalaarathi, there was mass feeding.
Late evening of 2nd December there was a chariot procession around the village in celebration of the opening of the Temple Complex.
From 3rd December onwards for 48 days the Mandala Abhisekham will be performed every day at Devarayasamudra Ashram. The Malaysian devotees were blessed to witness the first Mandala Abhisekam performed by Shri Babaji.
It was indeed a divine blessing for all to witness the conscretation of the idols by Shri Babaji. May the Temple Complex inspire seekers of the Truth to be disciplined in their sadhana.
